Finally we're off. Prior to this day, Daddy was unable to confirm on the travelling dates as there were always something that went wrong at the last min in his project or there were more requests from his clients to do additional add-ons.
My initial plan was to Kuantan, no, a little town, I should say, about 1 hr away from Kuantan instead. Sungai Lembing was my ultimate destination. I read in travel reviews, forums & blogs about their wonderful expedition to Bukit Panorama Hills (林明山) & rainbow waterfalls & I would have loved to be part of it but Daddy says we go Lost World of Tambun, Ipoh instead since he promised the kids some splash.
However, we changed our mind this morning & our ride took us to Shah Alam instead. We had I-City in mind. I checked the net for more info & directions on the whereabouts. Its simple. Once you're on the Nth Sth Highway <E2>, go all the way till you see directions for Shah Alam. Exit the NSH & you should be on the Shah Alam Highway <E5>. Keep on following the direction for Shah Alam & you will come to the tol plaza. After going through the toll, there will be many clear & precise direction for I City.
Arrival @ I City
The whole place is still relatively new & not many business are in operation. However, there were quite a number of attractions open ~ Trick Art Museum, House of Horror, Red Carpet, Snow Walk & the Water Theme Park. City of Digital Lights opens at 7pm till 1am.
Our 1st POI - Trick Art Museum. This beats queuing for hours at the Trick Eye Museum in Sentosa.
Admission rather cheap too: RM$15/person.
We took many, many, many photos but I only post those "can do" ones up here. :P
Next, we saw the Junior Obstacle Course and for RM$10/kid, both kids made a dash for it.
There were 2 layers of obstacles - the only let down was that if u fall off the course on the lower track, you will not be allowed to proceed further.
Hey, Rachel's wearing a pair of shorts underneath her dress. Don't think otherwise, filthy minds. LOL.
City of Digital Lights. Free admission.
