Princess here turns 7 today. When our kids were young, the adults would always try to plan & throw a big birthday bash for the child, wouldn't they? But as the child grows older, we tend to have a simple, quiet party within our own family members. So Daddy got a cake Polar at the request of princess who wanted a strawberry shortcake. (I was half expecting Daddy to get an ice cream cake from Swensons instead.)

We sang the birthday song & princess made a wish.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BABY. Daddy, Mummy & Kor Kor will always love & protect you. Stay sweet, happy & healthy always.

 

The cake seemed to be sinking in at the side but all that matters to princess was the strawberries on the top..haha

Happy 9th ' Hatch Day ' to Lionel. This mini celebration was done a few days in advance, on the Sun before. It was easier to gather everyone on a weekend, thus we bought a cake immediately after dinner.
