USS - RWS

05 Dec 2015 (Sat):

I am really lacking behind in my blog post. There hasn't been any exciting events lined up apart from my recent trip to Taiwan and China.

As promised to Rachel that I will bring them again to USS, today was one.

Again, there were not many pics to show but I will leave you with a couple of pics and videos.

This was a rainy day and the rain did not really stopped till about 5pm... I had to buy USS ponchos and its not cheap, ya know!

Team Nila Appreciation Night @ USS

11 July 2015 (Sat):

A week ago, Lionel brought back a pair of USS tickets and said it was given to everyone who had participated in the recent SEA Games event. However, admission was only from 5pm onwards, all the way till 11pm.

There was a tag given as well. Only those wearing the tags were allowed admission after 8pm as USS will be closed to the public at 8pm.

There will of cos be a few naughty ones who chose to liner on behind after 8pm, thinking that they will still allowed to go on the rides. Haha... Yes, I have noticed that. USS staff were briefed to only allow those wearing tags to go on the rides. And not just any tags but the Team Nila Appreciation Night tags.

Okay with only 2 tickets, we had to decide who would go. Lionel told me initially, they were each given only 1 ticket. Hello! Do the authorities actually expect the younger ones to go into USS by themselves?? In the end, it was the school teachers who gave up their tickets so that the students can have 2 tickets each. Nice gesture!

It was decided that Lionel and myself would go this time round. I promised would bring Rachel to USS soon for the whole day instead. She accepted the arrangement.

There were very few photos taken as we were just strolling and queue-ing for whatever rides and shows that caught our attention. We got wet and laughed ourselves silly. We caught the fire works at 8pm, though stupid me did not remember to video it down.

An evening well spent. A mother and son bonding time.

Wedding at W Hotel, Sentosa

06 Dec 2014 (Sat):

One of Hubby's rich clients' only son is getting married... and being in the import and export business, his list of guests included many of different nationalities and even foreign guests.

We were honoured to be invited and the wedding was held at none other than W Hotel, Sentosa.

Though the invitation card wrote smart casual as the dress code for the evening, we cannot looked too inappropriate also right? Stressed. I was reminded by Hubby to buy a dress suitable for this evening while we were in Ipoh last month.

Taking in the sights surrounding the hotel. Wow! Private housing and yatchs.

Any one knows what this is? Haha... i was having a laughing fit at my girl who seemed so enthusiatic when i asked her to take a picture with...... a dustbin!

The interior of the hotel. We walked away quietly during the dinner to look around the hotel.

The doors gifts and the interior of the wedding hall. And the guests were all dressed in elegant saris and tuxedos... Ya lah! Indian host lah! Haha..

And food was served buffet style....  North and South Indian food which proved too spicy for me and the kids. Luckily, there were other choices to choose from as it was all international food served. I settled mainly on fresh sashimi and sushi. The kids had sushi and pasta.

I did not realised that there was a serial number on the yatch Lionel was taking with as a background. Not sure if the number means anything but I have erased it off just in case... :P

Wave House @ Sentosa

09 March 201 (Sat):

Paying $40 per person on a weekend for this 1 hour board riding is terribly expensive to me but Daddy felt that this is a different kind of experience for the kids, hence he did not mind forking out $80.

We were at Wave House, Sentosa this late afternoon for some splashing. Daddy had a little dismantling work to be done at Wave House so while waiting, the kids had some water fun.

You've got to be of a min age & height to do this water ride. I prepared Rachel in advance, telling her that she might not be of the required height, so don't go yelling thats unfair... Well, she passed the min height limit :)

Listening to given instructions & hands on. The coach cum life guards were patient & gentle to the kids.

Here we go... Looking on, both Daddy & I felt that Rachel is more of a dare devil than Lionel.

Video shots of them both, riding the waves...well, sort of :)
