Legoland Water Theme Park

15 Oct 2013 (Tues):

Selemat Hari Raya Haji :)

We received an email from Legoland sometime back, informing us of an exclusive preview of the soon-to-open water theme park, only for annual pass holders from 13 -15 Oct 2013. If you are a premium pass holder, admission is free. However, if you are a standard pass holder, you will need to pay RM$40 per day. Pass is required for verification at the gantry.

Daddy decided to pay a visit & the kids can hardly wait. Thyron was invited as well. His dad actually allowed him to come with us to Malaysia.

This is the side view of the Legoland Hotel. Kinda cute; looks like lego from afar.

Another view of the Legoland hotel, due to open next year, I think.

Legoland Water Park. As Thyron do not have an annual pass, Daddy very kindly made him one on the spot at the customer service centre

Not all facilities are in full swing, such as the Built A Raft & Lazy River

We stopped for lunch at Manhattan's Fish Market. I am really old for all these adreline excitment. I screamed right from the start, till the end on all those long, gigantic & winding slides. Lionel made me all the more nervous whenever he shouted: " Mummy, another big turn is coming.."

As Thyron have never stepped into Legoland before, we made a trip over. All 3 went wild at the rides again. Not me, oh no! I do not want history to repeat itself :P

At about 4pm plus, we went back to the water park again to get wet as it was a very hot day. The boys went off on the slides again. Rachel wanted to just splash in the wave pool. I went along with her.

We went for dinner at Skudai. Daddy told the kids we would be having our food cooked on hot stones & they were eager to see how it was done.

Sizzling hot! Delicious.

After a long day, 4 of us fell asleep on the way home, leaving Daddy at the wheels to do his job; sending us back safely. Hahaha!

Children's Day Celebration & Dialogue

13 October 2013 (Sun):

A Children's Day cum Dialogue session was held in Chong Pang neighbourhood & everyone was invited to food & games. The kids registered for a colouring contest, hoping to win prizes. There were balloon scuplturing & a talk by Mr K. Shanmugam.

The centre stage

Lionel, Thyron & Rachel coloured as fast as possible becos all colouring sheets will have to be submitted by 5.15pm. It was already 4.45pm

But of cos, we had time for one or two photo shots :P

Balloon scuplturing which the children requested - a little poodle & 2 rifles.

" The VIP arrives & shook hands with the residents; as many as possible. :)

Giving a little speech on plans he have for the Nee Soon community.

Having fun.

Rachel was delighted to have won the 5th prize for category 6 years & below in the colouring contest.

Having fun, laughter & yelling for parents to help.

I remembered the kids were supposed to look for any pictures on Barney, be it on a bag, water bottle or shoes. Guess what? All the parents actually searched for the pictures online instead, using handphones thru Google or FB. Haha... The adults were more excited than the kids.

Lionel won the grand prize ( a FILA Sports Duffle bag worth $59.90 - the price tag was not even removed) when he showed what was asked for : an orange in colour Singapore currency note. Daddy has it & Lionel waved excitedly; right up the compere's face.... hahahaha...

CSTD Ballet Exam Open House 2013 - Primary Syllabus

03 October 2013 (Thurs):

Rachel & her peeps had their ballet open house this evening of which they will be showcasing the exam syllabus for Nov. Note the parents paparazzi...lol

I will post some videos soon as I am having a little uploading problem right now.

At one part of the training, Ms Wu got Rachel to step forward, sit down & faced the class. For a moment, I thought what mistake did Rachel made & that her teacher needed to correct. It turned out that Ms Wu was praising Rachel for showing her sweet smile & tummy tucked in, even while sitting down.

Ms Wu told me that Rachel had improved alot & she hopes that Rachel continues to show her passion for ballet.

Oh, here is a cute one. Another classmate, PX lost her upper front teeth & so she dared not smiled with her teeth shown. Ms Wu told her it is okay to smile & that it is a must during the exam for marks were allocated.

Rachel and some of her ballet classmates. Ms Wu, the ballet teacher cldnt resist taking a photo or two...haha.

I love these poses, especially the middle pose. Rachel looked so poise.

Right split, left split & front split. Ms Wu was commenting how it is that some of her girls were able to do the right split nicely but not the left split... lol

Lower Primary Sports Meet 2013

03 October 2013 (Thurs):

YPS had their lower primary sports day this morning. There were altogether 5 events for P2s - Rugby Challenge, Olympic Torch Run, Zigzag Challenge, Hula Challenge & LRT challenge. For the P1s, the only difference is the Mr Bean Challenge; the rest were the same.

I did not know Lionel was doing the 1st race & so I did not standby my camera. Could have slapped myself when I realised what was happening. Hiaz.

There was also the Parent-Child race in which i registered for Lionel & Daddy. Haha!

Overall, P2 Respect were the champions. Ermmm, no trophies or medals as all the events were team relays. Instead they got their usual gifts of notebooks, key chains, pencils, bookmarks...
