Wedding at W Hotel, Sentosa
06 Dec 2014 (Sat):
One of Hubby's rich clients' only son is getting married... and being in the import and export business, his list of guests included many of different nationalities and even foreign guests.
We were honoured to be invited and the wedding was held at none other than W Hotel, Sentosa.
Though the invitation card wrote smart casual as the dress code for the evening, we cannot looked too inappropriate also right? Stressed. I was reminded by Hubby to buy a dress suitable for this evening while we were in Ipoh last month.

Taking in the sights surrounding the hotel. Wow! Private housing and yatchs.
Any one knows what this is? Haha... i was having a laughing fit at my girl who seemed so enthusiatic when i asked her to take a picture with...... a dustbin!
The interior of the hotel. We walked away quietly during the dinner to look around the hotel.
The doors gifts and the interior of the wedding hall. And the guests were all dressed in elegant saris and tuxedos... Ya lah! Indian host lah! Haha..
And food was served buffet style.... North and South Indian food which proved too spicy for me and the kids. Luckily, there were other choices to choose from as it was all international food served. I settled mainly on fresh sashimi and sushi. The kids had sushi and pasta.
I did not realised that there was a serial number on the yatch Lionel was taking with as a background. Not sure if the number means anything but I have erased it off just in case... :P

01 Dec 2014 (Mon):
The last day of our trip. We had tim sum for breakfast and the kids were in awe of the adorable designs - panda, ducklings, mice, butterflies, goldfish, etc..
We hit the NSH at 4-lish and reached Singapore just after 10pm. A warm shower and after unpacking the bags, we were off to bed.

We spent the morning and half of the afternoon, shopping around Ipoh Parade and got winter jackets at a very good deal for 4 of us. I bought a top and skirt just for the sake of a grand wedding, to be held at W Hotel, Sentosa. Hubs got his bermudas and socks and the kids got new swim suits.

Road trip to Ipoh - Day 2
30 Nov 2014 (Sun):
We had breakfast at this " I dunno what or where " makan place... it was very crowded and we awaited a good 20 mins before we got a seat. They had Yong Tau Foo, Char Kway Teow, Chee Cheong Fun, Ngor Hiong... we ordered a plateful/bowlful from each store. Burp!

The star of the day - Lost World.
Since the last time we came here, Lost World now has this quaint little Ipoh Street, selling mainly food items. And we caught the opening show as well.
We wasted no time in coming over to the Tin Valley.
Dulang Washing. 信约之唐山到南洋. If you have watched this TV drama on Channel 8, 9pm, with cast like Li Nanxing, Jeanette Aw, Desmond Tan, Joanne Peh, etc...you defintely will know what i'm talking about.
The Kueh family left after this (Mrs Kueh wasnt feeling well) and we proceeded to watch the animal show.
We left Lost World close to 6pm and proceed to find a hotel for the night. This was the hotel we stayed previously but we've forgotten so. It was only when the front desk asked if we have stayed here before as our records were still kept, we then remembered about it.
Le Metrotel @ Jalan Theatre.
The interior of the hotel - very neat and cozy atmosphere.
Again, we came to this Lou wong Tauge Ayam Restaurant. Again we could not find a seat. Again we had to give it a miss... Hubs was commenting its everywhere in Singapore though.
We sent our ride for a change in all 4 tyres as the rubber was wearing off, did alignments, change vipers and basically, it was in good hands. No recommendations on the store though, we just passed by one and popped in to enquire.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and gave lots of advice and suggestions. In the end, they even took our ride for a test drive to make sure everything was in order. Thumbs up for an excellent service.

Road Trip to Ipoh - Day 1
29 Nov 2014 (Sat):
We were out of the house at 4am and onto the NSH at 430am. The Kueh family called us at 530am and we met while travelling on the highway... *wave*...*helloooo*... both cars running side by side so that the kids can wave to each other. It had been quite awhile since they last met.

Looking at the above photos, I am very sure you can guess our destination for this trip.
Our 1st stop for the morning: Gua Tempurong. - Limestone Cave
Can be quite eerie staring at the rock formation. Using a little imagination though,..
seen what i saw?
the circled area of the right most photo - can u see 3 eerie faces.. omg
Some photos while waiting for the guide...in the end, we ventured on our own as he was far behind with some other group members.
Once out from the dark caves and into the warm sunlight, we splashed a little at a little stream.
Lionel's pal, Thyron (in blue shirt) came along with us on this trip and he accidentally slipped and got himself all wet. Oppss!
One of the tourist recommended attraction, I think, is one of this temple shown above.
Lots of photos taken but i picked at random to share with you here.
Hotel Abbey by the River. We did a walked in and booked there and then. Recommended on Trip Advisor.
We booked 2 rooms and they each came with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. But when you get all the kids yelling, jumping, eating.... and behaving like monkeys, yes monkeys... we cant get any rest...

Rachel got back her year end results and it was well done.
I like her teacher's comment on Rachel being a voracious reader.
Rachel also received this Certificate of Achievement for having successfully completed the Instrumental Ensemble.
