As the end of 2013 draws to a closure in a few days time, Lionel & Rachel were seen here doing the last min writing, wrapping, sorting & packing of their school books for P3 & P1 respectively.
I taught Rachel how to insert the books into their covers once & she continued doing the rest herself.
Lionel writing down his name & class for all books.
My aunt invited us over to her place for a Xmas gathering cum BBQ. For one living at Telok Kurau, getting to her place from Yishun was a little troublesome. I had 2 options - take 969 to Tampines & switched to 15 from there. But then, it would take 26 stops from Tampines to TK. Or I can take the mrt to TP, changed to 31 & alight at the 3rd bus stop to take 966. This 2nd option, though messy, was faster.
Before that, since we were in TP, I took the kids for a little meal & some shopping.

Brother & Sister.
At my aunt's place. They each received a Swatch watch & some clothings as presents.
This afternoon, the students from my SC went to the Singapore Discovery Centre & the Singapore Army Museum. They were all excited but not all the students came as some of them were away on vacation or were not interested to join in.
Nevertheless, everyone had fun.
Our future generation.
A pair of treasured gems, 3 princesses , etc... haha
This afternoon, Lionel had his Wushu grading. I was not there at the grading grounds as I was sending Rachel off to SCGS for her performance.
Happy to say, Lionel passed all his syllabus for the Brown Belt grading & was promoted to Junior Black Belt. Haha... Don't mess with him now. :P
Rachel, on the other hand, had to miss her Green Belt grading. Da Shi Xiong said that it was alright. She would have to do a double grading the next time round then, which means, Rachel had to be graded twice; one for her Green Belt & the other for her Blue Belt. She is learning the syllabus for the Blue Belt now.
I caught Lionel in action at the CC during Wushu lessons yesterday & I loved the belt he has on his waist. Junior Black Belt. Cool!
All passed syllabus had to be graded once more & he passed all on his 1st attempt.
These were the syllabus for the Brown Belt.
Lionel, under the guidance of another Shi Xiong. They each had individual coaching and then followed by group coaching.
I asked Rachel if she enjoyed herself & her answer was yes. The bigger sisters took care of them all very well; played with them, assisted them, helped out, attended to their every needs. I was surprised to found out that Ms Wu would be performing as well. This was a rare opportunity to see the teachers performing. I caught the dance on video.
However, due to Daddy's work schedule, he was not able to rushed back on time, hence we missed the 1st 3 dance items - we arrived while the 4th item was ongoing. I was so afraid I would missed Rachel's " Dancing Notes " but luckily, hers was not till after the intermission.
I took a few photos of some of the dance items & I personally loved most of the costumes & some of the dance.
